Alright! I graduate college next year, and wanted to spend sometime in Japan. I was wondering if any of you guys had any experience regarding the Jet Program. Do you guys no other companies better than the jet program? Do you have other suggestions fro working in Japan? Any Information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi everybody! I lived in Kyoto last year and I had a blast. This year I was accepted into the Jet program and I was just placed in Yamanashi-ken. I was hoping for Kansai again, but that didn't work out? Has anyone here lived there/visited in Yamanashi? I've been here a while, but I don't think that I've posted before. Right now I'm teaching in Japan and my year-long contract is about to end. As I look at the future, I can see clearly that I don't want to come back to this same business, but I do want to continue to teach in this area. So, I'm in Japan doing the eikaiwa thing, and it's not exactly something I'd consider enjoyable. It feels like my brain is slowly wasting away reciting dialogs and reading drill cards.
